I offer counselling sessions that take place on the same day and the same time each week. I believe that the process of being listened to in a non-judgemental way can help you to explore parts of your self that you have not looked at before. I work with a diverse range of clients and needs and have a special interest in working with the LGBT community.

Counselling is a confidential relationship in which you can talk about the problems you are experiencing. Counselling is an opportunity for me to listen to your issues and concerns and to help you gain a better understanding of your feelings and thought processes, helping you to find solutions to your problems.

We will first have a 30-minute consultation on the telephone. This will gives us an opportunity to talk about how you are feeling and to explore how counselling might help you. If you decide to start counselling we will arrange our first session together.

I‘m also aware of the benefits of counselling from a client perspective. By the end of our first session, I hope that you will see this is your first step to overcoming the problems you are dealing with.

I work as a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor, which means that I am trained in a number of therapeutic approaches and these are Person Centred,Transactional Analysis and Gestalt theory.
I use my listening and empathic skills to help you to explore and come to terms with negative feelings and to change and develop in your own way.
I offer counselling to adults on a one-to-one basis. I can work with you for a set number of sessions agreed between us or we can agree an open ended longer-term counselling relationship based on your individual needs.
